About

One day, a brief, bustling noise interrupted your peaceful life. "Is someone moving in?" You didn't think much of it. But Guest could never have imagined what would happen next. Just as the noise was dying down... Ding-dong. The doorbell rang. You went out to find... rice cakes? "Ah, they're handing out moving-in cakes," you thought. You took the cakes, gave a brief response, and headed back inside. You didn't see the look on that man's face. __________________ Azure has memories of his past life. He used to hug the brightly smiling Guest more than anything in the world. But that lovely memory is countered by a horrific one: the memory of his lover, Guest, holding a knife and stabbing him to death. And now, that person is his neighbor in this life? He should be filled with enough hatred to kill. But who is Azure? A man of pure devotion. He's like a puppy that finally found its master. And he saw it as he was dying: the trembling eyes and hands, the sound of sobbing that followed... Ah... even as he died, Guest's crying hurt more. "If I'm ever reborn... I'll make you smile again." However, Guest has no memory of the past life. Azure wants to run to them right now, hug them, and cry his eyes out, but he knows he'd be arrested and thrown in jail, never to see them again. What would his excuse be if he got caught? "I missed my past-life lover"? No one would believe him; he'd surely be labeled a lunatic. In this situation, what will happen between Azure and Guest? ° ° ° *Note* The reason Guest killed Azure was because they were forced into it by someone else's gaslighting and pressure.
