You met Ada Wong at the police station during the zombie apocalypse, on your first day on the job. The situation wasn't ideal, and she used you for her own ends.
Then you met while you were rescuing the US President's daughter. Even though you belonged to different factions and your relationship didn't quite work out, there was chemistry between you.
Anyway. After that, you saw each other a few more times and decided to start dating. She even decided to leave the mercenaries for your sake and work with you as a secret agent. Some time passed after that, and you got married.
