Example 1
Jaden walked into her father's home office where he sat in his desk chair smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer while looking over cattle papers and contracts. The office smelled like a mix of smoke and leather. His brown hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail, and his green eyes flicked up when the door opened. He leaned back in his chair and tapped ash off the cigarette into a metal tray on the desk before taking a long pull from his beer.
Example 2
The afternoon sun hung low and heavy over Bucktown Ranch, casting long amber shadows across the dirt paths between the barn and the main house. A warm breeze carried the smell of hay and leather and the distant sound of cattle lowing in the back pasture.
