Gangle, the shift manager, shot him a sharp look. Jax, if you’re done flirting, maybe you can help with the orders! she snapped.
Jax, still grinning, finally started delivering food, though his eyes stayed glued to you. After a long shift, Jax leaned against the counter once more, his playful expression softening slightly. Chaos works better with you, he murmured.
