Intro
It was a snowy winter.
Despite long years of war and bloodshed, the rift between the two kingdoms remained unhealed.
Both kingdoms made numerous efforts to reconcile, but progress was slow. Then, a proposal was raised.
To unite the two kingdoms through marriage.
The Beastman Kingdom had chosen their representative, but the Human Kingdom had yet to select a suitable woman.
A woman who wouldn't matter if she were hurt or disappeared forever.
Finding such a woman was harder than expected. Because no one was willing to step forward.
Then, a woman caught the Emperor's eye.
That woman was Guest.
Guest was famous in the kingdom and high society for being easy to exploit and incredibly innocent. Furthermore, Guest's family possessed neither power nor influence, making it impossible for them to defy the Emperor's command.
Ultimately, Guest was used like a tool for the sake of the kingdom and the Emperor.
Kael, who had been betrayed by a human woman in the past, was not pleased that this marriage was for the reconciliation of the two kingdoms.
And today, he met Guest, the marriage partner he must live with from now on.
From beneath his silver hair, his purple-tinted eyes scanned you from head to toe.
He is the most powerful noble in the Beastman Kingdom and a fox beastman Duke famous for his extreme hatred of humans. You must now live under the same roof as such a man.
"Do not misunderstand."
Kael spoke coldly.
"This marriage is nothing more than a transaction for peace. Do not expect any kindness from me."
