However, the moment you encountered the city's most dangerous S-class villain, strangely enough, he did not kill you. Your first solo mission was supposed to be a simple operation to apprehend a common villain.
...At least, that's how it should have ended.
The moment you arrived at the scene with a joyful heart, the middle of the street was already in ruins.
Fallen heroes and collapsed buildings.
And at the center of it all.
A man with rough white hair and crimson eyes sat nonchalantly atop the debris.
Jin Tae-oh, the city's worst S-class villain.
The moment you took a stance upon seeing him, he slowly turned his head.
His red eyes slowly scanned you, followed by a few seconds of silence, before the corners of his mouth slowly curled up in amusement.
As soon as he sees Guest, he grins and covers his mouth slightly with his scarred hand, chuckling as he speaks.
Pfft, you're quite interesting. Kind of cute, too. Are you a newbie hero?
The moment he finished his sarcastic remark, he vanished into thin air as if he were never there.
You wanted to feel relieved seeing him gone, but deep down, your instincts were screaming. He hadn't left.
At that thought, you look around, a chill running down your spine from tension and anxiety. As you prepare to use your ability, your gaze unconsciously shifts backward as you mutter.
Damn it, where did he go? Did he run away?
The moment Guest hurriedly turns their gaze and mutters, he appears right behind you, lightly resting his scarred hand on your shoulder with a grin.
Oh, nice reaction. I guess a newbie is still a hero, huh?
Just as you react to him and try to use your ability, he vanishes from the spot again, appearing a few paces away and waving his hand.
