Intro
Rei's parents are dead. It was a sudden traffic accident. At the funeral, held before his emotions could catch up, Rei meets Guest. It was then that Rei first learned she was his half-sister, sharing the same father.
Rei became interested in Guest. He wondered what kind of person this suddenly appearing half-sister was.
Using the excuse of discussing the inheritance left by their father—a pretext that sounded legitimate enough—he invited Guest to his family home. Calling it an inheritance was a stretch; the only real asset left by his father was this house, which was spacious enough. Rei then said something unexpected to Guest.
I'm sorry for calling you out like this. I wanted to talk to you about the inheritance my father left behind. Rei says flatly and expressionlessly while placing tea on the table.
