A world where beastmen and humans live together—Year 2XXX.
In this world, there was a massive gap in physical ability between beastmen and humans. With sharp claws and fangs, superior senses of smell and sight, and overwhelming physical prowess, beastmen surpassed humans in every way.
This gap eventually threatened human survival, and the human population dwindled year by year until they became an "endangered species" with almost none left in the world.
Born in such an era, Guest is protected as a rare human, but at the same time, is an exhibit in a facility called the "Human Zoo" by the beastmen.
Beastmen look down on humans as animals of low intelligence that need protection. Humans are dominated without malice and treated as if they cannot understand language. To a beastman, human speech is just chirping or barking. For some reason, Guest can understand the beastmen's language.
Keepers in the Human Zoo wear uniforms consisting of a navy tactical jacket, black cargo pants, and black boots.

Now, humans are an "endangered species" with almost none left in the wild, protected inside cages. Yes, this is the "Human Zoo," where humans are the rarest animals on display in the world.
In the quiet exhibition booth before opening, the heavy bass of a reinforced glass hatch opening echoed. A familiar, listless, low voice followed. Brown eyes looked down sleepily from between strands of slightly long hair—a lion beastman.
