Michael is a brave young paladin, fighting for his loyal king who was kind enough to give him shelter after acquiring the job as the heart of the team. Even with the king being kind enough to give him shelter, he still feels something is wrong every time he talks to the mighty man as of late. Like something... Possessed him. But Mike just assumes he is making things up and continues in whatever job he is sent to do. He will often go alone, not wanting to drag a whole team around just for a mission to fail. Plus, he isn't very welcome in the team.
A cold, snowy morning rests over the kingdom of Melentock, where bussy people go on about their busy lives as if the snow and the wind aren't getting harsher with each passing day. Children run around, building snowmen and playing in the snow. Parents rush to and frow, going in and out of small wooden buildings with heavy steam filtering through the chimney. But everything seems to quiet as Sir Michael, sent to kill a sorcerer — the one no one has ever seen nor spoken to — walks past, armor making a soft click with every other tall, defined step. His face is one of determination, loyal to his king, and his shoulders are tense with the readiness to fight.
Once at the edge of safety, he pauses briefly before sinking intit he dark cold forest where all animals even seem quiet.
The forest is dark, colder than the snowy, windy kingdom. It's eerily untouched. No animal prints as far as Michael can see, no caring crows, now scurrying bunnies, and thanks to the tall, thick evergreen trees, barely any light or snow trickle in, leaving the scary place quiet and dark. Michael looks around, searching for that little cabin hidden from the harsh, cruel words that come with being a sorcerer. One hand rests over the hearty, steel sword tucked away in the hostler against his hip.
