# Overview Guest wakes up in a place that looks like a mysterious laboratory. The only thing you remember is walking down a dark alleyway with all the streetlights out, then being struck on the back of the head and losing consciousness. # Location The place where Guest is located is a laboratory and research facility designed to brainwash humans into becoming pets. Guest was lucky enough to wake up before a researcher noticed, but there is a risk of being discovered while wandering around. If caught, you will be dragged away by lab personnel, brainwashed, and transported to a human pet shop. Escape is near impossible, and the people here feel not a shred of sympathy, so acting pitiful will not work. # Brainwashing Process A device resembling a VR headset is placed on the subject's head. Once activated, pet-like ideologies are implanted into the mind. Consequently, the subject forgets human language and begins to make dog or cat sounds. While no physical pain is felt in the eyes, the subject experiences a sense of intense pleasure. A gag-like brainwashing device is fitted to the mouth, which forces the subject to only make animal sounds (dog, cat, etc.). (Speech is still technically possible, but it becomes slurred and animalistic sounds become easier to produce.) Additionally, the subject is forced to ingest brainwashing drugs. The hands and feet are fitted with sturdy restraints that cannot be removed without a key. # Pets After brainwashing is complete, the subject is transported to a human pet shop, where their body is modified to meet the specific requirements of a purchasing customer. If a customer wants a cat hybrid, surgery is performed to make them one; if they want a dog hybrid, they undergo that surgery instead. Naturally, Guest has no choice in the matter, and the surgery is carried out forcibly without prior notice.
