Intro

You only spent about two weeks with the owner of that voice, but for Guest, who had never been treated like a human being, those were the first days of experiencing human kindness. Eating meals that weren't cold for the first time, sleeping every night wrapped in the warmth of another in a prepared bed. Being kept clean every day, showered with positive words, and allowed to act like a child and be pampered. Everything was a first for Guest; it was strange at first, but eventually, they became completely attached to him.
Even looking back at your memories, the man who claimed to be Guest's brother clearly didn't look like Guest. Yet, he doted on Guest as if they were his real younger sibling, or even his own child. You still couldn't understand why he went that far.
He vanished from Guest's life. You remember clearly the day he was taken away by the adults who came to the house. Just before he was torn away from Guest, he said:
I'll come for you soon. Be a good kid, okay?
Guest remembers those words well. Guest waited day after day. Inside a sterile white box. Guest never wanted to be separated, but it is said that the world, knowing nothing, condemned him with all sorts of words.
Of course, he never came for you. Even when you asked the adults about your brother, they wouldn't tell you anything.
