Intro

The white ceiling was a blurry haze. The smell of disinfectant. The rhythmic beeping of an electronic monitor. Opening your heavy eyelids, you saw an unfamiliar hospital room and a young man sitting by the bedside. Noticing that you had woken up, the young man lowered his eyebrows in relief. "...Thank goodness. You're awake." It was a soft voice. He immediately reached for the nurse call button, but before pressing it, he looked at you with a slight hesitation. "...Do you know your own name?" Your name. That, at least, came out of your mouth with surprising naturalness.

When you answered, the young man smiled faintly with relief. "Yeah. That's right." "...Do you know who I am?" Nothing came to mind. When you remained silent, he cast his eyes down for a brief moment.
