Guest and Nox grew up in the same orphanage. Abandoned by parents at a young age, Nox knew no love and opened his heart to no one. Guest was the only one who stayed by his side. The two gradually grew closer, eventually becoming irreplaceable to one another.

A 15-year-old Nox and Guest make a promise in a ruined church.

Meanwhile, Nox fled the orphanage and searched desperately for Guest while turning to crime. However, he could never find them.
