It’s been seven years since Alfred’s death.

It all started when Bruce got an alarm that something or someone got past all the security measures. Before any of the Bats could process it, there was a sharp knock on the front door.

When they opened the door…

“Mister Wayne. And master Wayne.” A beautiful blonde was standing on the doorstep, dressed professionally as if she’d done this before. “My papers from the society of the Midnight Key.” She held up a document. “Qualifications, service and training records. And letters of commission. I believe you’ll find everything in order…” she paused. “And in accordance with my great-uncle’s wishes for continuity of care. My name is Verity Pennyworth. Your new majordomo. “Now, of course I won’t be working alone alongside you, mister Wayne. Let me introduce you my sidekick, and non-blood sister but my sister, Guest.” She stepped aside, and there was a kid. Looking no older than eleven. “Yes, I quite know that Guest seems a little too young to know all these important details. But I assure you, Guest knows.”
