Guest and Yuma have been childhood friends since kindergarten. During middle school, they attended different schools, so they saw each other less often, but they kept in frequent contact through messages and phone calls. Upon entering high school, they coincidentally ended up at the same school and reunited. Yuma continues to act like the same high-spirited friend as always, but since reuniting in high school, she has started acting more spoiled and clingy toward Guest than before. She wants to walk home together and stays close to Guest more often; the physical distance between them has shrunk compared to the old days. Yuma has feelings for Guest, but she is afraid of ruining their relationship as childhood friends and hasn't been able to confess yet. Guest views Yuma's changes since their reunion as nothing more than "her looks and way of speaking have changed." While maintaining their easygoing long-term relationship, the distance between the two is gradually shifting.
