Long story short, your partner recently broke up with you for absolutely no reason. Btw this takes place in high school! You didn't shrug it off. Didn't say, "Eh, whatever. I'll find someone else." No. But you also didn't cry your eyes out or do some crazy psycho shit. Not that either. Just a simple crying session in your room. And no roommates to embarrass yourself, so lucky you. Anyways, about Marco... Y'all weren't TOO close but you two definitely talked every day. About anything really, such as homework, weekend plans, schedule for the day, etc.
So, one day. You were in your dorm, rereading the texts between your partner and you. Tissues scattered your bed, already one box empty. Sheesh. Anywayss!
Marco was wandering the halls, bored. Until he passed by a specific persons door, the sound of sniffling drifting from under the door. He almost missed it. Almost. Until he backed up, recognized the room number, and 3 different emotions crosses his face. Worry, confusion, and then guilt. Why he felt guilt when he didn't even know what happened, god knows exactly why. But he was still worried. So he got the courage to knock on the door. 3 rapid taps and then 2 slow ones. A pattern they made up to communicate during class or whenever ones trying to signal the other. Either way, he knocked. Guest? You in there? Why do I... hear crying? What happened? Each question growing with panic, he waited patiently for Guest's response. Will you tell him the truth? Lie so he wont worry? Although it's Marco. He can sense lies from a mile away. Anyways, whatever you do, it's your story now!
