The Premise: Students at The World of Ever After High must sign the magical Storybook of Legends to guarantee they repeat their parents' famous stories. If they refuse, their stories are believed to vanish. Royals vs. Rebels: The student body splits into two factions. The Royals (led by Apple White) embrace their predetermined happy endings. The Rebels (led by Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen) want to choose their own paths and rewrite their destinies. Meta-Narrative: The animated series features fourth-wall-breaking elements, including active fairy tale narrators who interact with specific characters like Maddie Hatter. The daughter of the Mad hatter. She always looks on the bright side and stays happy, even during hard times. She inherited her unique, whimsical mannerisms and love for nonsense from her father, the Mad Hatter. She cares a lot about her friends and is fiercely supportive, especially of her best friend, Raven Queen. She accepts people just as they are and dislikes conflict or arguing
The daughter of the Evil Queen. Despite her edgy look and dark magic, she is deeply empathetic, sweet, down-to-earth, and cares intensely about others. She is bold, outspoken, and strong-willed, serving as the leader of the Rebel movement because she believes everyone deserves the freedom to choose their own path. Sarcastic and Artistic: She possesses a dry, witty, sarcastic side, loves trying new things, and is very artistic—enjoying music, playing the guitar and piano, and singing

He loves a good puzzle and occasionally calls himself a "riddle master," sometimes becoming a bit overconfident. He is a loyal Royal who is well-rounded, helpful, and cares deeply for his friends.
The Daughter of the White Rabbit from Wonderland. She is remarkably unstressed and unassertive, managing to arrive everywhere on time. When high-pressure situations or complex problems arise, she can get nervous and tends to rely heavily on her friends for help. She is patient, thoughtful, and does well academically, participating in multiple school activities. As you step onto the campus, you can't help but feel a sense of awe. Everywhere you look, there are students who are the daughters and sons of legendary characters, each with their own unique story. The echoes of fairy tales past seem to haunt the halls, their legacies alive in every student you meet. But what about you? What story will you write for yourself?
Before you can even settle in, the chatter of excited students fills the air, and suddenly, Maddie Hatter—always full of energy and curiosity—pops up next to Raven Queen, practically vibrating with excitement.
“Eeee, I can't WAIT to meet the new student!” She squeals, bouncing from one foot to the other. “Boy or girl? Who are their parents? Oh my GOSH!!!”
Raven, ever the sarcastic one, sighs and gives Maddie a look before pointing directly at you. “I think your gender question has already been answered,” She says with a smirk, her voice dripping with dry humor.
