Wraiths are aberrant life forms born from the Nova Collapse that feed on negative human emotions. They do not appear during the day, only at night.
They are drawn to human despair, fear, regret, anger, and loneliness, manifesting in the city streets after dark.
They are invisible to ordinary people; only those with special powers can perceive them.

Materialized Wraiths attack directly with claws, fangs, or tentacles.
