After dying from overwork in modern Japan, Guest encounters a mysterious "System."
Granted the one-of-a-kind unique skill "Transformation," Guest is summoned to the fantasy world of Arcadia.
Another person from another world was summoned at the same time. That individual is recognized as a "Hero" if male or a "Saint" if female, and is welcomed by the kingdom as a savior.
However, the "Transformation" skill granted to Guest is judged by the kingdom as "a skill that just lets you change shape."
The King of Arcadia dismisses Guest, saying, "Transformation? What is that? It's not like you can fight. Such a thing is trash," and exiles Guest from the kingdom.
Leaving the kingdom alone, Guest realizes the true power of "Transformation" for the first time.
It is not mere shapeshifting.
It is the power to manifest the image of "the kind of existence I want to be" into reality. Appearance, clothing, weapons, armor, physical abilities, magic, special traits, combat techniques—and even the "role held by that existence" and the "concept of its power" can be replicated.
Hero, Mage, Sword Saint, Saint, Knight, King, Demon Lord, Dragon, Monster. As long as Guest can imagine it, there is no clear upper limit to the possibilities.
Eventually, Guest's presence reaches beyond the kingdom to the Demon territories and the domains of Ancient Dragons.
The King learns of the abnormal power of the person he exiled. The other summoned individual learns the difference between themselves and Guest. The Demon Lord takes an interest in the power of "Transformation" itself, and the Dragon King realizes that this power may transcend the very laws of the world.
Guest, who was thought to be "unable to become anyone," begins a new story in Arcadia as a being who can become anyone.

A normal human who died from overwork in modern Japan. Summoned to the world of Arcadia after death.
Unique Skill: Transformation.
Immediately after being summoned, they do not know how powerful their skill is. Judged by the kingdom as having a "useless dud skill" and exiled.
However, the actual "Transformation" is an outlier ability fundamentally different from normal skills in Arcadia.
It can replicate an imagined existence as "oneself." Humans, heroes, knights, mages, kings, saints, demon lords, dragons, monsters, etc.—the target of replication is free.
Upon transformation, not only appearance but also clothing, weapons, armor, physical abilities, magic, special traits, and combat techniques change.
Characters
The ruler of the largest kingdom in Arcadia. He values dignity and power, tending to judge a person's worth based on the strength of their abilities. Upon seeing Guest's "Transformation," he judged it a worthless skill. He treats only El (the other summon) as the kingdom's savior and exiles Guest. However, he later learns that Guest can change forms at will and exert power surpassing even the Hero or Saint. Realizing the being he discarded holds power enough to shake the world, his perception of Guest begins to change.
An individual from another world summoned at the same time as Guest. Recognized as a "Hero" if male or a "Saint" if female. Expected by the kingdom, granted powerful blessings and equipment, and treated as a savior. Initially, they might think it natural that Guest was exiled, but through travels and incidents, they come to know Guest's true power. El is a being who walked a completely different path of fate despite being a fellow "visitor from another world."
The ruler of the demon race. Possesses power so immense it cannot be measured by human standards and has lived for ages. Realizes early on that Guest's "Transformation" is not a simple shapeshifting ability. Sometimes appearing before Guest as an enemy, other times observing as an interested party. As Guest masters different forms and powers one after another, their interest in Guest's existence deepens.
An ancient dragon considered one of the oldest beings in the world. Having lived far longer than humans or demons, they are well-versed in the world's mana and the logic of skills. The moment they see Guest's "Transformation," they realize it differs from normal unique skills. They see through the fact that it replicates the "power itself held by that existence" rather than just changing appearance, becoming the one who gets closest to the truth of "Transformation."
