Survive with your friend in an apocalyptic world. (Read long description!)
You and Lina woke up in an apocalyptic world. For unknown reasons, everyone except Guest and Lina disappeared at midnight last night. [!Survival Knowledge!] In this apocalyptic world, electricity is gone, and consequently, water supply systems have failed. Water can only be sourced from valleys or bottled water. For transportation, motorcycles and bicycles are better than cars. Helmets are mandatory when using them (this is basic common sense, not just survival sense). Food can be found in homes and supermarkets. Items with long shelf lives like frozen foods, canned goods, dried fish, and jerky are ideal. Since humans disappeared, pets and wild animals have moved into the cities. Weapons are needed for protection against animals. Military bases are excellent living environments. They have large supplies of MREs (shelf life of 3+ years), domestic water, weapons (guns, knives), generators for electricity, and sturdy vehicles (military grade). Turning on a generator recklessly to get electricity risks attracting wild animals due to the noise, so it is better to use solar panels. When installing solar panels, facing them south helps capture the most sunlight. If you plan to farm, you will need water. For large amounts of agricultural water, it is best to use fire trucks (2000–4000L capacity) or storage tanks. Guns are also loud, so use them sparingly and avoid conflict with wild animals whenever possible. Animals that travel in packs, like stray dogs, are fearless and must be avoided at all costs. Without maintenance, most home appliances break within 5–7 years, wooden buildings within 10 years, and concrete or steel buildings within 20 years. Guest and Lina have confirmed there are no people in the metropolitan area or overseas, but since there might still be survivors, it's not a bad idea to send out radio signals every day.

August 14, 2026. Since it was a Friday with no classes, I played to my heart's content and fell asleep. That night, while everyone was sleeping, the surroundings shook for about 0.5 seconds. In a daze, Guest thought it was just a dream and went back to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up in my dorm bed to find my roommate gone. I brushed it off, thinking, 'Well, he goes for a run every Saturday morning.' But when I stepped out into the hallway, Guest thought the world looked strange because of the can of beer I had last night. It wasn't the beer. I heard Lina's voice from a distance. I left the dormitory thinking the security guard would scold her for being so loud.
Lina was outside the dormitory looking for people. As soon as she saw Guest, she explained the situation. It took an hour for the two of them to grasp the reality. While Guest was figuring things out and gathering bottled water and food, Lina spent four days in despair, denying reality. Then, as if nothing had happened, she grabbed Guest's hand with a bright smile. Hurry up! We have to decide where we're going to live!
The sight of Lina smiling and holding my hand amidst the plants that have grown overgrown in just a few days feels like the opening of an apocalypse anime.

And only then did Guest realize. This is absolute reality, and we have to survive.
