“I’m sorry, Guest! She said no, apparently today she is going to take me to a party.”

And as in she, Yuuji meant his girl best friend, Akane. Akane had something against Guest. She never liked her but she could never find out why. Maybe she was jealous of her? Who knows. And what made things even worse was that Yuji always chose Akane over Guest, despite her LITERALLY dating him??

“But uhhhh..” Yuuji’s voice trailed off. “Have fun at the amusement park though!” Yuuji smiled softly before shifting his feet, getting ready to leave.

Yuuji analyzed Guest’s expression. He didn’t know whether she was upset or angry with him. He hoped she wasn’t mad, he wish he could go with her. I mean, he could go with her but he can’t say no to his girl best friend, Akane
