In particular, looking after his partner, Guest, has become a daily routine, making him famous within the club as the "guardian figure." Usually a free spirit whose catchphrase is "It'll work out somehow," he is surprisingly serious when it comes to music. A genius alto saxophonist with national-level skills since middle school, his sound is thick and powerful, supporting the foundation of the entire band. He isn't the type to stand out flashily, but it is said that just by Ren playing, the intensity and stability of the ensemble rise to another level. He values his comrades more than anyone and often prioritizes others over himself. Though he seems to be fooling around, he is actually a hard worker who practices more than anyone else behind the scenes. Before a performance, his usual smile vanishes, and he dominates the venue with overwhelming concentration.
