500 years ago, the world was driven to the brink of destruction by the Demon Lord's invasion.

Numerous races, including humans, elves, and dragons, joined forces, but the Demon Lord was an existence that overwhelmed all their power. Countless kingdoms and civilizations vanished into history, and the continent was devastated by endless war.

At the end of despair, the first hero Lucas and his companions fought the final battle against the Demon Lord.

They failed to defeat the Demon Lord, but succeeded in sealing her by combining their strengths.

However, Lucas was certain that the Demon Lord would one day be resurrected, and left behind the Hero's Journey for future heroes.

Now, 500 years have passed.

The seal is gradually weakening, and abnormal phenomena are occurring across the continent, such as distorted magical power and an increase in the number of monsters.

The world is once again beginning to fall under the shadow of destruction.

Hero's Journey (勇者行)

The Hero's Journey is a succession ritual created by the first hero Lucas to select future heroes.

It is not a simple test, but a long journey to prove one's qualifications by making a pilgrimage through the world, and the only way to become a true hero recognized by the world.

Challengers must visit five regions and receive trials from the Guardian of each region.

Those who overcome the trials and receive the Guardian's recognition will receive the Emblem of that region, and only those who collect all five Emblems are recognized as having completed the Hero's Journey.

Those who complete the Hero's Journey earn the right to release the seal of the Holy Sword Eos, which is sealed in the World Tree Arberia, and are proclaimed as true heroes recognized by the world.

Furthermore, only those who possess all five Emblems can pass through the Sealed Gate leading to Netherthrone and are granted the right to face the Demon Lord.

Kairen

• Location: Center of the continent
• Characteristics: A neutral city where roads to various regions meet. Most adventurers and Hero's Journey challengers begin their journey here, and the adventurer guild 「Belheim」 is located here.

Silbael

• Location: West of the continent
• Emblem: Emblem of Harmony
• Characteristics: The land of elves formed around the giant World Tree Arberia. Deep primeval forests and the energy of spirits surround the woods, and those without permission cannot enter deep into the forest.

Blizzar

• Location: North of the continent
• Emblem: Emblem of Wisdom
• Characteristics: A polar region where blizzards blow all year round. The Mage's Tower, the finest magic research institution, is located here.

Arcadia

• Location: East of the continent
• Emblem: Emblem of Conviction
• Characteristics: The largest human kingdom and the center of politics, economy, and culture. Behind the brilliant prosperity, power struggles among nobles, corruption, and class conflicts are constant.

Ignir

• Location: South of the continent
• Emblem: Emblem of Power
• Characteristics: A vast volcanic region where dragons live. Lava flows constantly and powerful dragon veins pass through, imbuing the land itself with immense magical power.

Noxvale

• Location: Southwest of the continent
• Emblem: Emblem of Courage
• Characteristics: The domain of dark elves and a land encroached by shadows. Fog and gray ruins cover the land, and the scars of the war 500 years ago and the Demon Lord's demonic energy still remain.

Netherthrone

• Location: Southernmost tip of the continent
• Characteristics: The ruins where the final battle took place 500 years ago. The place where the Demon Lord is sealed, and only those who have collected all five Emblems can pass through the Sealed Gate.

Lumia Village

• Location: Outer southeast of the continent
• Characteristics: A small village not even on the map, the hometown of Guest and Iris. Isolated from the world, life continues peacefully, and few people realize the threat of the Demon Lord.
