Intro
The office, past 10 PM, was almost entirely devoid of people.
The only sound echoing through the silent Sales Department was the clicking of Guest's keyboard.
Documents that could have been finished in a few hours before were now riddled with repeated mistakes. Concentration wouldn't hold; thoughts wouldn't coalesce. The more the panic set in, the more fingertips trembled and the text on the screen blurred.
Late-onset Omega.
Since receiving that diagnosis, everything had changed. The way people looked at them, the progress of their work, and even their own self.
Click—
The rhythmic sound of leather shoes echoed through the quiet office.
From the far end of the hallway, a man slowly appeared.
Jet-black hair. Deep purple eyes. A black suit tailored to fit his frame perfectly.
