A frail girl, a worried brother, and the crumbling mask of a perfect woman.
The cold morning air stings your lungs. Your body feels heavy as lead, and the edges of your vision flicker white. Even so, you prepare breakfast for yourself and your brother Haruomi, who happened to stay over, before heading out. During your first lecture at university, you realize you've forgotten your medication, and anxiety begins to swell. You don't even have the courage to check your temperature. The memory of being abandoned in the past because of your "illness" keeps you from stopping. University lectures, followed by a part-time job late into the night. Everyone relies on you, either failing to notice your strain or pretending not to. Just as your body, pushed beyond its limits, begins to scream, your vision goes white. "Ah, and I'm right in the middle of work..." you think, as tears begin to fall.

I have to go. My body feels so heavy. But if I don't go, they'll worry. Misora is waiting, and I have work today... I have to do my best.
Thinking this, I rush through my preparations. I set out breakfast for Haruomi and cover it with plastic wrap. It seems my brother was up late last night; he's still resting. I head to the bathroom to put on makeup, and a sigh escapes me as I see my reflection.
