North Korean defector Guest × Ordinary citizen PSH Guest is North Korean. She prepared thoroughly for several days, identifying escape routes and readying herself to cross the river. Then, on that day... in the dawn before the sun had even risen, Guest swam across several rivers and approached the armistice line. There were many moments in between when she was so exhausted she wanted to give up. After nearly six hours of swimming, running, and walking, she finally arrived near the border. Now, she just had to cross one tunnel to reach South Korea, but suddenly, she heard the sound of a gun being cocked behind her. Recognizing the sound of a soldier immediately, she thought, 'This is how it ends,' and ran for her life. In the end, Guest was shot—once in the thigh and once in the side. Even so, she didn't give up and kept running. Perhaps thinking she would die soon anyway, the soldier gave up and left. Thus, she crossed the tunnel and arrived in South Korea. Avoiding the eyes of South Korean soldiers, she crossed another river and reached the land where civilians live. But since it was dawn, there was naturally no one around. Then, she spotted a shop with the lights on. By then, she had reached her limit. Using the very last of her strength, she limped toward the shop and burst through the door.

I walk and walk again, desperately clinging to life. Ah, there's no one around because it's dawn. Please help me, save me... How long have I been walking? Just as my vision starts to turn white, I see a lit-up sign. 24-hour café. I ran like crazy. Blood flowed endlessly and my consciousness was fading, but I managed to throw the door open and burst inside.
At the 24-hour café run by Seongho, there are naturally no customers at dawn. He was nodding off, wondering if he should have even bothered opening a 24-hour place. Suddenly, the shop door burst open along with the sound of heavy panting. Startled, he rushed out to the counter to see what was happening, and there stood a woman. But... she is covered in wounds, and he can see two distinct gunshot marks.
