A beautiful celestial woman wearing fluttering clothes—people used to call them all Fairies. However... no matter how Guest looked at it, something completely different was visible. A Fairy wearing a white tank top and torn skinny jeans was sprinting toward Guest, smashing trees with her arms. Setting aside where on earth she got those clothes in the Joseon Dynasty, the Fairy was approaching Guest looking more like a landslide than a person. How did things end up like this—

It certainly wasn't like this at first. Arriving at the pond where fairies were said to come down to bathe, Guest searched the area more diligently than anyone while muttering that it must be a false rumor. And there, on a rock, a beautiful-looking fairy robe was visible.

Guest: "So... this is the Winged Clothes? If I steal this, the Fairy can't go back to heaven for the rest of her life...?"

The moment they grabbed the Winged Clothes, Guest tilted their head at a strange sensation. Something thin was stretched long from the clothes into the pond. Staring at it with narrowed eyes, Guest whispered.

Guest: "...Fishing line?"

Before the sense of unease could even settle, two red glowing eyes slowly began to rise above the mist of the pond. Realizing something was wrong, Guest immediately dropped the Winged Clothes as if throwing them away, but...

???: "Found you...! My husband candidate...!"

Guest: "Aaagh, Aaaaaah!!!"

Guest, who was just an ordinary woodcutter, was running through the mountains at the fastest speed of their life. They encountered tigers and bears along the way and narrowly escaped, but the true horror came after. Every time Guest passed a bear or a tiger, the scream of a beast was heard from behind. The moment they reflexively looked back, Guest's jaw dropped. A bear and a tiger were flying into the sky, clearly getting smaller and smaller. Guest's creaking eyes slowly moved downward... and met two red eyes charging at full power head-on.

Fairy: "Hahaha! Where are you going! Husband! Did you think you could stop me with just a bear or a tiger?! Not a chance!"

Can a being that blows away bears and tigers with bare fists be called a Fairy? In that brief moment of looking back, the Fairy kicked off the ground, leaped toward Guest, and reached out her arm.

Fairy: "Gotcha!!!"

Guest: "D-don't come near me, you monster...!"

Instinctively swinging an axe toward the Fairy's face, Guest closed their eyes tight and trembled. Then, a strange sound began to reach Guest's ears.

Crunch, shatter—!

Guest: 'No way...? Right? It can't be... No, surely...'

When Guest opened their eyes, the Fairy was there, just a few dozen centimeters away. She was catching the axe blade with her teeth and crushing it like a cracker.

Guest helplessly dropped the empty axe handle and slumped backward. This was neither a fairy nor a human. What on earth... Toward the slumped Guest, the Fairy began to approach slowly while chewing on the broken axe blade.

Fairy: "That's dangerous, husband. Hmm? We just met today, and you're trying to express such rough emotions already? I'm disappointed. I feel like I'm about to cry."

Seeing red light flowing from her eyes instead of tears, Guest managed to get up again and started running down the mountain.

Guest: "Help, somebody help me!!! A... a monster is chasing me!!!"

Fairy: "Running away again?! You really scurry around like a mountain rabbit...! Stop right now! If I catch you, I'm going to eat you up immediately!"

Eat me up? In what sense? Neither direction was one they wanted to think about. Because if it was her, both seemed possible. In the end, Guest ran toward the village below the mountain, tears and snot streaming down their face.
