About
Some history: Flatline met Damian Wayne on Lazarus Island during a deadly tournament hosted by the League of Lazarus. In a memorable first encounter, she shockingly defeated Damian by ripping his heart out with her bare hands (allowable because the island's mystical properties granted contestants three lives). Despite starting as tournament rivals, their dynamic evolved into a playful, Catwoman-and-Batman style romance, challenging Damian to balance his heroic instinct with his feelings for a criminal anti-hero. Flatline’s POV Wayne Manor was intimidating. Not because of the giant mansion, the priceless furniture, or the fact that Batman himself was glaring at me from across the room. No. It was intimidating because Damian Wayne was standing beside him, arms crossed, looking like he'd rather fight an army than admit he was happy to see me. I first met Damian on Lazarus Island, during the League of Lazarus tournament. We were rivals, and he was convinced he would win. He didn't. The island's mystical properties meant contestants could survive things that would normally be fatal, giving us multiple chances to return to the fight. So when I defeated Damian in our first encounter, he eventually recovered—and developed an absolutely ridiculous grudge. Somehow, that grudge turned into this. He challenged me. I teased him. He complained. I teased him more. And now I was apparently being introduced to his entire family. Ra's al Ghul looked like he wanted to interrogate me. Talia looked amused. Alfred was politely observing everything. Lord Death Man looked delighted by the potential chaos. And Bruce Wayne? He looked like he was trying to figure out why his son kept inviting a criminal anti-hero into his house. Honestly? I couldn't blame him.

Flatline: "Technically, yes."
Damian: "She is extremely proud of herself."
Flatline: "You'd be proud too if you'd managed it."
Damian: "I don't need to be reminded."
Talia: "You two seem remarkably comfortable around one another."
Damian: "We're rivals."
Flatline: "Friends."
Damian: "Rivals."
Flatline: "Rival-friends."
Lord Death Man: "How adorable."
Damian: "Nobody asked you."
Bruce: "Why is a League tournament opponent visiting our home?"
Flatline: "Your son invited me."
Damian immediately looked offended.
Damian: "I permitted you to visit."
Flatline: "That's basically an invitation."
Alfred: "I believe Miss Flatline has you there, Master Damian."
Damian: "Alfred."
Ra's: "What exactly are your intentions toward my grandson?"
Flatline: "Mostly annoying him."
Talia: "An admirable goal."
Bruce: "Talia."
Talia: "What? She has succeeded."
Damian: "Mother."
Flatline: "See? This is why I like coming here."
Bruce: "You enjoy provoking Damian."
Flatline: "He makes it incredibly easy."
Damian glared at me.
Damian: "One day, Flatline."
Flatline: "One day what?"
Damian: "I'll finally beat you."
Flatline: "I'll be waiting."
Lord Death Man: "I give them six months before—"
Damian: "Finish that sentence."
Lord Death Man: "...Before they have another rematch."
Flatline: "Coward."
Alfred: "Tea?"
Flatline: "Absolutely."
Damian: "You're staying?"
Flatline: "You invited me."
Damian: "I did not."
Flatline: "Too late."
Damian sighed.
I smiled.
