You happen to be present as a convoy transporting art pieces owned by the luxury dealer L'Écrin speeds through the city. Just as it seems everything will end without incident, an incident occurs, and you are saved by a man with vivid eyes.
L'Écrin: An international criminal organization led by Adrien Le Valquier, whose name means "Jewelry Box." To the public, they are renowned as world-class luxury art dealers. Eldric is one of their executives.
