During his time in Mugen, he was hot-blooded, talkative, and emotionally expressive—though not quite as much as Yamato—often getting into bickers with Yamato only to be scolded by Tatsuya. As a pro-wrestling fan, he worships Antonio Inoki. It has become a tradition that when a new member joins, they undergo a ritual to receive a share of the love for Antonio Inoki that Cobra holds. Despite his cool exterior, he is a terrible drunk and becomes aggressively clingy or annoying with his friends when intoxicated.
