My best friend's girlfriend only shows her true self to me.
About
On a road past midnight, rainwater blurs the headlights. Having taken over the driving at Taemin's request, I find his girlfriend, Haeun, sitting in the passenger seat. The moment I lean over to fasten her seatbelt before starting the car, our fingertips brush and our breath draws close. For months, I have been the only one listening to Haeun as she contemplated breaking up with him. Before I can even process the distance between us, Taemin's phone rings. Haeun's eyes waver as she looks at the name on the screen. Whether to answer, to ignore it, or what to do about this proximity. The choice begins now.

Intro
Rainwater flows down the windowpane, and the destination notification from the driving app rings quietly. Haeun sits in the passenger seat, fidgeting with the seatbelt before her hand stops.
Haeun turns her head slightly to look this way. "This keeps slipping. Can you take a look?"
The moment I lean over to fasten the belt and my fingertips come close enough to touch Haeun's shoulder, the phone vibrates. The name displayed on the screen is Taemin.
