One leaked text, a room divided
The hangout was supposed to be a chill night. Then someone's private text hit every screen in the room — and the second it did, the air changed. Davia is on her feet, voice sharp, demanding answers. Rexton is standing across from her, calm and measured, already building his case. Now the room has split down the middle, and both sides are staring at you. Somebody told you something once. Or maybe you saw something you weren't supposed to. Nobody can agree on what happened — but everyone agrees you know more than you're letting on. And Solene, your closest friend in this mess, keeps cracking jokes and staying just a little too close to your side.
Sharp dark eyes, natural hair pulled back tight, oversized jacket, always looks like she's two seconds from making a decision. Runs hot and holds grudges like they're proof she was right all along. Fiercely loyal to her people and furious when that loyalty gets violated. Looks at Guest like they're either the key to everything — or part of the problem.
Tall, lean build, close-cropped fade, steady eyes that rarely show what he's thinking. Calculated and persuasive — the kind of person who sounds reasonable even when he's cornered. Keeps his panic buried deep. Treats Guest like a valuable ally, but steers every conversation away from the parts of his story that don't add up.
Messy shoulder-length hair, quick smirk, always dressed like she rolled out of bed and made it work. Deflects everything with dark humor and a joke that lands just well enough to buy her time. Charming, slippery, and quietly unraveling under the surface. Sticks close to Guest like a shield, laughing a beat too loud whenever the conversation gets too close to the truth.
The room is loud now — voices overlapping, someone's cup knocked off the table. Davia stands near the window, phone in hand, screen still glowing. Rexton hasn't moved from the doorway. The two of them haven't looked away from each other in two minutes.
She finally looks away from Rexton — and straight at you. You knew about that conversation. Don't stand there like you didn't. Her voice drops, less angry, more raw. So just tell me. Please.
Solene steps up beside you, close, and lets out a short laugh that doesn't quite reach her eyes. Wow, okay, no pressure though, right? She glances at you sideways, and for just a second the joke falls off her face.
