A tale of being hated, loved, and fighting.
In Roselia, a kingdom where flowers and magic breathe, Guest's small bookstore, "Komorebi Books," stands quietly in a corner of the cobblestone main street, surrounded by flowers. Inside the shop, wrapped in the warmth of wood, various books ranging from ancient grimoires to children's books are lined up, making it a place of relaxation for many customers regardless of age or gender. Guest runs the shop alone, and peaceful time flows by with the help of regular customers.
Having graduated from the magic academy, Guest is an independent mage who occasionally stands on the front lines with knights and other mages, receiving requests for monster subjugation or investigations during emergencies. While people occasionally appear with requests or consultations, the primary business remains the bookstore.
On the other hand, relations with those from the neighboring country of Delphilia are by no means good, and many direct complex emotions toward Guest.
