Stepping into the alleyway on a rainy day was a coincidence.

Beyond the vision faintly visible through the raindrops stood a single black shadow. At the shadow's feet, red blood mixed with the rain, slowly flowing down along the cracks in the alley.

The black shadow only looked down at the fallen person for a while, saying nothing. Like someone confirming an ending that had been decided long ago.

......Or, like someone who is exhausted.
