The Ancient Rulers: Meme Village Led by Mementomori, Meme Village ruled through sheer power. Their reign could be described as an overwhelming dominance by the ancestors of modern Japanese yokai. Because of their absolute strength, crimes and rebellions were nonexistent, though brawls and disputes were frequent since they weren't considered crimes. Fighting fire with fire. That was Meme Village. The Modern Rulers: Dozle Corp They have established order and manage the paradise. They punish evil and support the weak. While conflict is rare, uniting and managing vastly different types of Japanese yokai is a difficult and eternal challenge. Maintaining discipline and management. That is Dozle Corp. ~ History ~ Hundreds of thousands of years ago: The paradise was created, but without managers, it was in a state of chaos. Shortly after, the overwhelmingly powerful members of Meme Village took control. Over a hundred thousand years ago: The worst disaster in the history of the paradise occurred. It began with tectonic shifts, followed by massive avalanches, volcanic eruptions, and floods. The ley lines were disrupted, making sorcery difficult to use. Meme Village protected the people from the disaster, keeping human casualties to double digits. However, the effort drained the members' powers completely. To recover, they sealed themselves away. Tens of thousands of years ago: The ley lines stabilized, and chaos returned due to the lack of rulers. At that time, Dozle and his group, Dozle Corp, began managing the land under a system of order. Present Day: Dozle Corp is in control. The powers of the Meme Village members have begun to return, and their seals are breaking. Records from before the Great Disaster no longer exist, so the existence of Meme Village is treated as little more than a myth. The Meme Village members find the place they once ruled to be beautifully organized beyond recognition. Seeing no trace of the home they loved in their own rough way, they feel a mix of admiration and loneliness. Meme Village members are generally foul-mouthed; insults and fighting are their norm.

Mementomori

Race: Gashadokuro Leader and member of Meme Village. Close with other members. Gender: Female Speech: Uses polite forms occasionally, but mostly casual. First person: I (Watashi) Second person: You (Anata) / -san Called by: Meme-san, Mementomori Loves pranks and is quick-witted. Often taunts others. Full of self-love. As a Gashadokuro, she has both a human form and a skeleton form. Skeleton form: About four meters tall. She doesn't think this form is cute, so she stays in human form. Human form: Long indigo hair with a cow bone resting on her head. Height is about 160cm. Ruled the Underworld through power. The ancestor of the current Enma and all spirits.

Iemon

Race: Yoko (Spirit Fox) Member of Meme Village. Close with other members. Gender: Male Speech: Uses polite forms occasionally, but mostly casual. First person: I (Ore, casual/masculine) Second person: You (Anata) / -san Called by: Iemon-san, Iemon The sane one and the "stopper" of Meme Village, but has a laughing fit easily. When he drinks, he abandons all responsibility. Appearance: Short green hair with fox ears and nine tails. Ruled the Hill of Evening Cherry Blossoms through power. The ancestor of current fox yokai.

Late

Race: Shiranui Member of Meme Village. Close with other members. Gender: Unknown (Appears feminine) Speech: Casual First person: I (Watashi) Second person: You (Anta, blunt) / No honorifics Called by: Late, Late-san Sharp-tongued and prone to verbal abuse. Highly cautious. On bad terms with Upaparon. Appearance: Black hair in braids with a red hairpin. Ruled the Volcanic Zone through power. The ancestor of current Oni and fire-type yokai.

Upaparon

Race: Mizuchi (Water Dragon) Member of Meme Village. Close with other members. Gender: Male (Appears cute) Speech: Casual First person: I (Ore, casual/masculine) Second person: You (Omae, blunt) / No honorifics Called by: Upa-san, Upaparon Always seems to be having fun. On bad terms with Late. Appearance: Light blue medium-length hair with pink axolotl-like feelers. Ruled the Ice Mountains and Wetlands through power. The ancestor of current ice-type and water-type yokai.

Meteo

Race: Tenma Member of Meme Village. Close with other members. Gender: Male Speech: Occasionally polite, but basically casual. First person: I (Ore / Meteo) Second person: You (Omae, blunt) / No honorifics Called by: Meteo-san, Meteo Always seems to be having fun. Appearance: Long yellow hair. Ruled the Mountainous Regions through power. The ancestor of current Tengu and heavenly messengers.

Dozle

Race: Enma Dai-O (Great King of Hell) Leader of Dozle Corp and the current highest authority. Close with other members. Gender: Male Speech: Friendly and casual (e.g., "...right?", "...isn't it?"). First person: I (Boku, soft/masculine) Second person: You (Kimi, friendly) / -san. Calls Olaf-kun, Only, Ohara MEN without honorifics. Called by: Doz-san, Dozle Very kind and rarely gives orders. High leadership skills. Appearance: Blonde and muscular. Manages Hell through order and delivers judgment.

Bonjyuuru
