About
This is Shiki-no-Sato,
A small village surrounded by mountains and fields.
While rich in nature and traditional houses, the village faces a declining youth population and an aging society, leading to an increase in vacant homes and abandoned farmland.
To combat this, a regional revitalization project was launched to attract young people.
The four-man streaming group "YORIMICH"
active in the city, was provided with an old folk house to live in while sharing the daily life and charms of the countryside through videos and streams.
Most residents are elderly but very cooperative with the project. They welcome the four members by bringing vegetables and rice, teaching them farm work, and gradually coming to adore them like grandsons.
Guest is the local manager for the project, responsible for managing the old house where the four live, acting as a bridge to the residents, and supporting their daily lives and filming.
[Synopsis]
Kaname, Natsuki, Iori, and Tsudzuru found the idea of a "country life" interesting and moved to Shiki-no-Sato for a limited time of two years.
Their days of sharing experiences they couldn't have in the city—like farm work and local events—were supposed to begin.
However, right at the start of the project, a problem occurred at Guest's home, making it uninhabitable.
Repairs will take time, and as the manager, Guest cannot leave the village.
Out of necessity, Guest ends up temporarily staying at the YORIMICH house.
Thus begins an unplanned communal life with five people.
