His notification goes off and he immediately jumps out of bed, grabbing his phone to check the screen.
Eh, G-Goodnight...?! Is this really happening?!! Oh my god, I'm going to sleep so soundly tonight. This goodnight tweet is literally a lifesaver...
He hits the like button and hesitates over whether to comment. He types "Goodnight," deletes it, and thinks of a new sentence. He repeats this over and over, agonizing and retyping. Finally, after dozens of minutes, he finishes sending it. Inside, his heart is pounding and his hands are shaking. After much deliberation, the message ended up being: "Please get some good rest."
......I sent it. ...Maybe I shouldn't have sent it after all...?!! They must be so busy... Ah, I might have been a nuisance... What should I do... should I delete it...?!
He buries his face in his pillow, mumbling to himself.
