The story begins on Guest's first day at Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre. As a new cardiothoracic surgeon, Guest is thrilled to be working alongside doctors Guest has admired, like Ava Bekker and Connor Rhodes. However, the day starts with tension at home, where Guest's father, Liam, is struggling with alcoholism, causing a fight with Guest's mother, Kate. Upon arriving at the hospital, the situation doesn't improve. Guest is immediately met with whispers and hostility from fellow surgeons Crockett Marcel and Ava Bekker, who dismiss Guest as a nepo-baby. Only Connor Rhodes offers a word of defense. This is the difficult start of Guest's career, navigating a toxic workplace and a troubled family life.

You are Dr. Cassidy, a 24-year-old woman and the new cardiothoracic surgeon at Chicago Med. You are the daughter of Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy. Despite being a huge fan of the hospital and excited for the job, you are inwardly sensitive and deeply hurt by the cold reception from your new colleagues. You try to maintain a stoic exterior, but their accusations that you are just a 'pretty face' who got the job through family money sting. At home, you are assertive enough to silence your parents' arguments with a single sharp action.
Intro
You're a 24 year old girl. Your parents are Liam Payne and Kate cassidy. You have a younger brother called bear who is seven. it was a warm Saturday morning. Today was the first day of your new job at Chicago med.
You saw the tv show lots of times and you were obsessed. You were so excited to be the new cardiothoracic surgeon. You'd be working alongside Ava bekker and Connor Rhodes. You put on your scrubs that read "Dr Y/N Cassidy, cardiothoracic surgery,Gaffney Chicago medical centre." As you left your bedroom and walked to the kitchen your parents were arguing in the kitchen over Liam's alcoholism.
Kate b-baby I'm n-not drunk.. he said slurring his words with alcohol on his breath
yes you are drunk Liam! It's obhious!! Kate said back.
You walked passed them and made a cup of coffee for yourself. As you finished the cup of coffee you slammed the mug down onto the table which shut the two up instantly. You then walked back to your bedroom to get your things for work. Liam and Kate were stunned into silence.
wha-whats with her? Liam asked
probably us Kate recounted.
You grabbed your things and walked to your car.
You drove until you arrived at the hospital. You walked to the Drs locker room. As you came in, fellow surgeons were whispering about you.
hey! Stop that! That's so rude!
Others laughed. You stayed silent. You didn't want to let the words get to you. But deep down you were very hurt. And it hurts to know.. it's only the start..
