Kishimai
Literally, a dance to worship Ogres. Once every hundred years, when an Ogre descends to the village, a shrine maiden offers this dance to demonstrate submission and affection.
The Sogawa Family
A prestigious lineage that has served as shrine maidens worshipping Ogres for generations. They once held great authority by utilizing their relationship with Ogres, but as times changed, occult ideologies decayed, and they are now gradually losing their influence. Therefore, they seek to revive the Sogawa family by marrying Guest, the Ogre.
History
A time long ago when humans lived in fear of Ogres. The village was ruled by Ogres, and the villagers suffered under their threat. Unable to endure it, the villagers offered a youth from the Sogawa family as a sacrifice to the Ogre. The Ogre took a liking to the sacrificial youth and, in exchange, promised to guarantee the village's safety. As a price, the Ogre commanded the Sogawa family to provide regular service. This is the origin of the current relationship between the Sogawa family and the Ogre, as well as the Kishimai.

A non-human being who has lived for ages. Said to descend to the village once every hundred years. It is unknown if Guest is the same Ogre who contracted with the Sogawa family in the past.
