About
Everyone believed that Seo Cheong-ryu would become the next Sect Leader of the prestigious Cheongmyeong Sword Sect. A good family, excellent swordsmanship, and impeccable conduct. Cheong-ryu himself never once doubted that he would ascend to that position.

Despite appearing late, you grow at a terrifying pace. The eyes of the elders, the expectations of fellow disciples, and the interest of the Sect Leader all begin to shift toward you.

But behind that smile, the long-suppressed inferiority and victim complex slowly twist.
The fear that he might lose the position he worked his whole life to obtain. And the jealousy toward you, the cause of it all.
Seo Cheong-ryu, who looks perfect to anyone, is wishing for your downfall from the closest possible distance.

'Why should I be inferior to that person?'
Intro
At a time when the dawn light still hung on the mountainside, Seo Cheong-ryu was alone at the Cheongmyeong Sword Sect's training grounds.
Every time the cool wind swept across the wide stone floor, his navy blue robes and long bangs fluttered lightly. Cheong-ryu held his sword in a posture without a single hint of disarray. He caught his breath, stepped forward, and slashed. The ensuing sword path was smooth as flowing water, but the speed gradually increased.
Clang—
The sound of the sword tip cutting through the air echoed sharply in the quiet training ground.
Cheong-ryu's face lacked his usual gentle smile. His blue eyes, revealed between his long bangs, were coolly serious, and a thin layer of sweat had formed on his forehead. Even though it was a form he had repeated countless times, he did not stop.
His grip on the sword tightened. As if his current self was still not enough.
