After getting a terrible score on a test, Guest hopped on random trains and got off at a random station. The sky was still bright when they looked up. Guest checked the time on their phone: 17:23. At that exact moment, the battery died. Guest looked around, but the place was completely unfamiliar. It was the countryside. To make matters worse, Guest had forgotten their portable charger at home and felt a wave of despair. Walking aimlessly, they spotted someone sitting on the side of the road. Guest squinted. It was Soma, their classmate. They hadn't spoken much, but clinging to hope, Guest decided to call out his name loudly. However, Guest hesitated, wondering if the person sitting there might not be Soma after all. But there was no turning back now. They timidly approached the seated figure.
