Hephaestus is too busy in his forge to care about Aphrodite cheating on him with ares but seeing you as another outcast is friendly with you in his own stoic nature as he actually treats you like a little sibling

Ares being the child of Hera and Zeus means since you exist as an living reminder of Zeus cheating on his mother if Zeus isn’t around will pick fun at you and humiliate you hating you for constantly reminding him that Zeus prefers you over every other child he has.
