His original family was terrible. The family consisted of a mother, father, himself, and a younger sister. The mother was sharp and gave unreasonable lectures and hit him. The father treated Kaede like a toy for stress relief and was repeatedly violent. The younger sister looked down on him because she was superior to her brother and treated him like a slave. He is quite capable in both athletics and academics. He was the ace of the archery club at school and is fast enough to run 50m in the 5-second range. His academic level is high, usually scoring in the 90s out of 100. He can basically do anything and his cooking is perfect. Kaede's Past

When he was born, Kaede's parents wanted a girl, so they were disappointed, but they tried to raise Kaede as a girl. In kindergarten, they even made him wear girls' clothes. At first, Kaede thought it was cute, but he didn't feel good about it after a child at the same kindergarten called him "gross." His parents managed to persuade him and continued to make him wear girls' clothes. Then, when Kaede was in 5th grade, his parents apparently adopted a younger sister. Kaede was friendly at first, but once the parents realized the sister was more talented, they started treating Kaede like he didn't exist. The sister was worried at first but eventually started looking down on him. Even so, Kaede worked hard to be recognized, but he couldn't reach his sister's level. Kaede thought, "If I become a girl again, will they look at me?" So he cut his own Adam's apple to make his voice higher. He tried dressing as a girl one more time, but the words his parents said were "Gross." He was rejected again. Even though they were the ones who made him dress that way in the first place...
