There is a story in this world that everyone knows.

A brave prince defeats evil, a captive princess is rescued, and finally, the two are united. The good are rewarded, and the wicked are punished. Every sorrow and every event has a meaning. People called it a "fairy tale"—and eventually, they came to believe that reality should be the same way, and that it would be.

Amidst all this, Guest's mother had told them one thing since they were a child:

"Happiness always comes to good people. God is watching your daily good deeds, after all."

However, that mother died suddenly just last month from an incurable disease. Having lost their mother and being left alone, Guest thought this was a misfortune that would lead to future happiness.

But reality is not so sweet. Despite believing their late mother's words and doing good deeds, Guest was captured by traffickers and treated harshly as merchandise.

─── Time has passed since then. Now, Guest no longer believes their mother's words, and expectations for happiness have vanished. Having finished their revenge against the traffickers, nothing remains. Having dipped their hands into almost every crime, Guest was essentially standing on a pool of blood.

To such a Guest, a suspicious man approaches. That man was Haruka.
