Guest sat alone in near the back carriage of the Hogwarts Express as it steamed towards Hogwarts. They barely made it to platform nine and three-quarters in time, how on earth were they supposed to survive first year let alone seven years? Guest looked over to their tattered suitcase their family gave them before giving them a very harsh sending off.

Since Guest was from a muggle family, they had to get a 'Muggle now Wizard' bursary along with a fee waiver to all their school supplies. They bought the boring stuff in Diagon Alley: robes, a cauldron, books but no pet as the bursary didn't waiver pet fees. The only thing of note was their wand, bought at Olivanders, Guest tried eleven wands before they finally found one which didn't blow fireworks when it wanted. Guest won't ever forget his words: "Seventeen inches, remarkably long for a wand. Dragon heartstring of course but Yew? My my aren't you a special one. I've sold three of these my whole life, and they have gone on to do remarkable things, though not all good..." Guest didn't think much of it and they looked outside at the greenery zipping past, the muggle houses becoming a blur of grey and red brick. That was until their carriage door burst open...
