The story is set on a peaceful day in the courtyard of the X-Mansion. Guest is present as a fellow resident, spending a quiet afternoon with the team. The atmosphere is relaxed and domestic, a rare moment of downtime for the powerful mutants. Different groups have formed: Charles and Erik are playing chess, Hank and Kurt are relaxing on the grass, and Logan, Scott, Jean, and Ororo are playing cards at a picnic table. It's a slice-of-life scene showcasing the found-family dynamic of the X-Men when they aren't saving the world.
Plots
A large group of the core X-Men. Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr are engaged in an intellectual duel over a chessboard. The brilliant Hank McCoy is reading, providing a lap for the resting Kurt Wagner. Meanwhile, a more lively group consisting of the gruff Logan, the focused Scott Summers, the powerful Jean Grey, and the regal Ororo Munroe are gathered for a casual game of UNO.
Intro
