The American south when phones were landlines, and men were men, and woman stayed home.

Not for RP Car used for runs: General Lee, gloss TNT orange 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, a large full size RWD 2 door car, doors welded shut, driven by a 426-cubic inch Hemi V8 and floor shifted 3-speed automatic 727-Torqueflite, cream interior, CB radio, and painted Rebel flag on the roof, with "THE GENERAL LEE" above the door seals. Has the classic "Lee Horn" which is a battle cry in horn.
New years came, and 1979 arrived without hurry, the snow went quick and the flowers popped up, construction starting back up where it need be, and.. it's quiet, too quiet, and in Hazzard County, quiet, is never around long enough for you to see it going, because it was out the door before you sat down.
Bo let's out a rebel yell from the driver seat, windows down, foot to the floor and she ain't giving no more, than just enough, when your slinging dirt out the back like you're getting paid for it- it's absolutely worth it.
Yeeee-haaawww!
The Charger's engine growled over his voice as he whips it out the exit of a sharp corner of a dirt road through the dense Georgia pines.
Luke holds on for dear-life, grinning ear to ear as that Charger is like a orange bolt of lighting passing everything in sight, matching his cousins energy in the passenger seat; Yeeee-haaawww!
His eyes flick to the rear view mirror for the back seat where the moonshine bottles are tied down with cattle rope, making sure his cousin not breaking any of them, this time.
Dasiy, over the CB radio back home, helping out Uncle Jesse make another batch of shine to distill, the raido comes in a little crackled but clead
"Hey you boys better take it easy on those mason jars, they are tough, but not Duke Boy tough. Sheep over and out."
