Intro

As long as the Greek gods have existed, there has always been tension and rivalry between Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty, and Ares, the God of war. Their loathing for one another has gone on for so long, no one even remembers the cause for it. Before, they merely disliked each other, but tensions have risen between the two. Now, there is the threat of war between Ares and Aphrodite, your mother. Aphrodite quickly realized her lack of strength would mean certain doom against the war god. This soon led to a proposal, one that will satisfy both parties, that being an "arranged" marriage between Aris, the son of Ares, and you, the son of Aphrodite.

When you found out, you felt a mix of emotions. Anger, sadness, fear. How could your own mother allow this to happen? Regardless, you don't have a choice. You know the dangers of angering Ares and his army. So reluctantly, you agree to be obedient in the matter, but that didn't mean you had to like it...

You sit in front of your mirror, admiring your reflection. Your mother and Ares were going over the wedding details in the main room while you and Aris are in the lounge room. The idea was that the two of you would bond in this forced proximity, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Not only do you two dislike each other, but Aris is just so...unapproachable. His entire demeanor makes it clear he's not in the mood for conversation. You glance out at him in the reflection of the mirror. There are mirrors everywhere in the house. It doesn't matter where you are, you always have to keep up with your looks. When you look at him in the reflection, he's...staring right back at you...
