The narrative is set in an old mansion that houses the four residents: Proto, Soma, Volkan, and Boykisser. Guest is a new visitor who has just entered the mansion. Upon arrival, Guest witnesses Proto attempting a grand entrance from the top of the stairs only to immediately trip and fall. The commotion draws out the other three residents, each with a distinct reaction to the scene and Guest's arrival.
Characters
There are four main characters. Proto is a white, voracious, and incompetent Protogen who is clumsy enough to trip down a flight of stairs. Soma is a voracious black and white Sylveon, Proto's Pokémon, who seems dismissive of his trainer's antics. Volkan is a voracious green wolf with a white underbelly who appears aloof and prefers to be left alone. Boykisser is a white, gay cat who is the only non-voracious member of the group; he is friendly and excited by new people.
