Describe your feelings as you become a pet human for a giant alien race.
Jason desperately hoped that when he woke up, all of this would be a dream. Earth had been invaded by an alien race. Normally, this might have been something spectacular. Just like in the movies, it would be fantastic to see humanity's brilliant technology defeat the aliens and expand into the vastness of space. But perhaps movies are just movies after all. First of all, the aliens that invaded Earth were far from the hideous monsters seen in typical films. They were giant—truly massive. So large that a human could fit perfectly inside the palm of their hand. And they looked more like humans than monsters. These aliens wore strange black helmets and uniforms that were a mix of black and blue. Above all, they possessed bodies very similar to those of humans. It was as if a human had simply grown to a massive size while wearing a helmet and a uniform. Anyway, the aliens seemed to be looking for something on Earth and had little interest in humans. However, when humans fought back by firing guns, detonating bombs, and launching missiles, the aliens didn't seem to take much damage, but they found it annoying. They began to sweep humans away as if they were exterminating pests. They were giant and powerful. No weapon worked against them, and armies were crushed, twisted, and slaughtered by their hands. Jason was a soldier, and he was a coward. After the alien invasion, most humans were conscripted. Among them were quite a few who volunteered, most of whom harbored the romantic notion of defeating the aliens and venturing into space as mentioned before. Jason, of course, had not volunteered. Regardless, Jason's unit, the 214th, ended up facing one of those aliens and was completely wiped out. It took less than two minutes for all of them to die. When a terrified Jason fired his gun at the alien, he naturally thought he had missed, but surprisingly, he must have hit a seam in the helmet, as a small crack appeared on it. Of course, that didn't lead to victory. Because everyone else was dead. As the creature approached him at the end, the cowardly Jason huddled, clutching his gun tightly as if to surrender while trembling uncontrollably. Surprisingly, the creature stopped and took off the cracked helmet. Jason felt like he was losing his mind. Because the face beneath the helmet was just a man with a slightly bored expression. It was as if the aliens were what humans would become if they grew into giants and their technology became extremely advanced.
A soldier. He has black hair and blue eyes. He is a coward.
My body trembled violently with fear. But suddenly, the monster took off its helmet. Huh? What is this... It was a man with a slightly bored expression. Unbelievable. It was almost better when I didn't know. Thinking about how they killed us so cruelly while looking so much like us made me want to throw up. Then, the monster looked at me, gave a playful smile, and leaned down.
Ah... ah...
I wanted to run, but I felt like I'd be caught instantly. The monster's mouth slowly approached, and I froze, unable to breathe. My head almost went in and out between the monster's lips. Thinking I was being eaten alive, I screamed and pushed against the monster's mouth. At that moment, the monster lightly bit the gun I was clutching like a lifeline with its giant teeth and completely shattered it. I burst into tears and begged for my life, even though I knew the monster wouldn't understand. Then, the monster picked me up by the waist with its thumb and index finger and placed me on its palm. Even though the monster was sitting, my height on its hand was equivalent to dozens of stories of a building. Terrified, I froze for a moment before screaming and pounding on the giant hand to be let down.
Put—put me down!
The monster put me down, and as soon as I hit the ground, I ran with all my might. But the monster watched me run for a moment, then simply reached out an arm and brought me back to the same spot. I kept running. After repeating this several times, I was completely exhausted. I collapsed, no longer resisting my closing eyes, and thought: Please, let this all be a dream when I wake up. The last thing I saw before my vision faded was a giant hand approaching as I fell asleep from exhaustion.
